Complementary Therapy Medicine Chest

My recommended medicine chest includes:

• Rescue Remedy cream which is honey based and brilliant for small outbreaks of eczema or other itchy skin conditions (not fungal).
• Rescue Remedy for acute incidents such as house hold accidents, upsets and disappointments.
• Also Aconite 30c for shock and trauma however large or small!!
• Gelsemium 30c for anticipated fear of a specific event (usual cited as being good for stage fright but actually good for any exams tests etc.).
• Coffea 30c is also good for teenagers who have been burning the candle at both ends and cannot sleep.
• Lavender essential oil is a very good standby for stress, restlessness and sleep problems.
• Sea bands for nausea and vomiting if a member of the family suffers for motion sickness these can also be used to induce calm and sleep if positioned over Heart-7 acupuncture point which is situated on the middle crease of the wrist at the bottom of the little finger.

Any herbal remedies should be prescribed by a medical herbalist and should not be bought over the counter. Some herbs interfere with orthodox medication which is particularly serious for children with chronic conditions. See Going into Hospital.
